Grandmother Moon and the Search for the Deep Feminine - Some memories from October 13-15

During the weekend, participants created collages of moon images, used modeling compound to make moons for their sandplay collections, and decorated pots, which are ancient symbols of the Great Mother, to honor the Feminine. The image here shows several of these creations, over the great turtle who formed the first solid ground of creation as Turtle Island for the Anishinaabe people.
